RE/MAX of Southern Africa is pleased to announce the addition of an international property expert, Bob Harple, to its management team as the company?s Operations Manager.

Peter Gilmour, Chairman of RE/MAX of Southern Africa, says that with more than 25 years of experience in real estate and franchising, 11 years of which were with RE/MAX around the world, Bob brings a wealth of experience that will be a huge benefit to the organisation and its membership and will no doubt further strengthen the RE/MAX of Southern Africa management team.

Harple was Franchise Sales Director with RE/MAX International in 1994 when the region was sold to Peter and Val Gilmour. He toured the country when the official RE/MAX openings were held in June 1995 and also attended the RE/MAX 10th anniversary Convention in 2005. Harple has been instrumental in pioneering the expansion of the RE/MAX brand outside of North America to Africa and Europe.

"Our goal has been to assemble the finest, most experienced management team for RE/MAX of Southern Africa. The addition of Bob Harple as Operations Manager and recently appointed Kevin Jacobs as National Franchise Development Manager our goal has been reached,? says Gilmour.

Adrian Goslett, who has led RE/MAX of Southern Africa as its CEO for the past two years, now has a management team at his disposal that has an excellent blend of youth, experience and enthusiasm and who will undoubtedly have a lasting positive impact on the brand.

Harple has distinguished himself with his franchising sales and marketing efforts in USA, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and is also an experienced real estate trainer and a Business Coach.

His focus will be on expanding the RE/MAX of Southern Africa footprint in Africa and ensuring that the brand continues to offer the best services and benefits in the industry to its agents and franchisees.

Gilmour notes that RE/MAX of Southern Africa had a very successful year in 2011 where real estate sales grew by 30% over the 2010 figures and the group continued to attract high quality real estate professionals due to the superior services, benefits, online presence and international training programs it offers.

Agents and consumers have particularly enjoyed the fact that RE/MAX of Southern Africa is BBBEE rated and monitors its quality of service to customers through its unique online Quality Assurance Program. RE/MAX of Southern Africa also has a large focus on community involvement and has recently crossed the R7-million mark for its support of the Reach For A Dream Foundation and other local charities.
